Shabbos Bulletin Parshas Tetzaveh 5779

Saying “parshas hatamid” in the morning is obligatory. Saying it is the equivalent of bringing the korbon but only if its meaning is understood. It is therefore worthwhile to study the text in order to reap the full benefit. But it should be said even if one does not understand the words.

If “parshas hatamid” was not said before davening, one should say it after davening. If it is past zeman tefilah, one may say it until halachic noon.

The widespread custom is that women do not say it.
