On days when tachanun is said, one may not talk even words of Torah until after tachanun. One may say parts of shacharis that had been omitted, or say tehillim (this is all until the chazzan starts chazaras hashatz, of course).

Yaakov Avinu wakes up, and realizes that he has perhaps violated the kedusha of the place of worship where he had  stayed. What will we feel like when we “wake up” and realize how we  act  in our holy places of worship?
