If one forgot to say “HaShem, sefosaiy tiftach” at the beginning of shemoneh esrei, one does NOT go back to say it (even though it is, to a degree, considered part of shemoneh   esrei).

‘Sefarim’ write that the Hebrew word ‘seivah’ (denoting a ripe, old age)   stands for: shetikah yafeh b’she’as haTefillah.
