Rema rules that the Shatz need not recite yiheyu l’ratzon after his chazaras haShatz (123:6). [Magen Avrohom and Taz each say quite different reasons.] Mishneh Berureh there rules that he should say it.

Mishneh Berureh rules that the Shatz should say HaShem, sefassaiy tiftach… [and presumably yiheyu l’ratzon] in a whisper (111 s”k 10).

Rav Malinowitz would prefer that this pesak from the Mishneh Berureh be followed by BTYA, but will not stop those who do otherwise, based on their Rebbeim or Rabbonim.
