Shabbos Bulletin Parshas Tetzaveh 5778

The point of reading Parshas Zachor is to remind ourselves of Amalek being evil incarnate, and to develop and maintain a hatred of him (the Nation) to the degree that we would unhesitatingly kill an Amalaikee.

(This is even if you know one, and you think he is a fine fellow—a gentleman, a scholar, a patron of the arts. Not easy, especially not for the Western mentality.)
