Shabbos Bulletin Parshas Re’eh

When davening two shemoneh essreis one-after-the-other (usually that would happen when davening a tefilas tashlumin), one should say “ashrei” between them. The exception to this would be if davening two shemoneh essreis by maariv (say because of missing minchah), when you would just pause between the 2 tefillos the amount of time it takes to walk about 6-8 feet, since the mekubalim discourage the saying of “ashrei” at night.
