If no tune is being sung by the Kohanim at birkas kohanim, and a person is perturbed by a dream, the prayer for the amelioration of dreams may be said as the birkas kohanim proceeds, and the person should as much as possible keep pausing and listening when the kohanim respond to the chazzan. The prayer can be completed while the chazzan says sim shalom.
