During the Gush Katif days I remember being so very proud of having a Rav that did what was for some reason “against the normal” but was obviously right- Jews should not be forcibly removed from their home” even in Israel.. The Rav so clearly stood firm …. against the flood of criticism….. I was so very very proud to be part of his kehillah.
