On Shabbos, if one concluded the beracha of go’al yisrael, and is about to start shemoneh essraiy, and realized that the tzibbur is saying a dovor shebikedushah, one may respond in the following situations:

  • Barchu
  • Kedusha:
    • Kadosh, Kadosh, Kadosh
    • Baruch Kevod…
  • Kaddish:
    • Amein, yehei shemei rabbah…
    • Amein after da’amiran b’alma
  • Amein after ha’keil hakadosh
  • Amein after shome’a Tefillah
  • The first three words of modim derabonon
  • Amein after the 3 pesukim of birchas kohanim (NOT the berachah before they start)
