I had posted to the BTYA membership the opportunity to sponsor trips to Ukraine/Russia to provide Brissim for Jewish adults and the Rav immediately responded that he would like to partake in the mitzvah. He summarily wrote a check for 500$ and I arranged that he should be the sandik at the next local bris for his contribution. The next trip Rav Aaron Kramer took was to Odessa Ukraine where he performed the mitzvah of Bris millah on 3 young men and he forwarded me the pictures. I forwarded the pictures to the Rav and explained that his money sponsored these 3 Jews who are now under the fold of Avraham Avinu. He told me that he was having a particularly hard day and these pictures cheered him up sooo much that he decided to sponsor the next 2 trips as well!!!
